Taking the post of leader of the Golos party, Kira Rudik proposed to rewrite the political force charter to gain as many powers as possible, said Yaroslav Yurchishin, Golos people’s deputy.
Kira Rudik has no political experience, leaving the party, Golos founder, Ukrainian musician Svyatoslav Vakarchuk relied on his managerial qualities. But Rudik’s appointment as head of the political force was Vakarchuk’s mistake, says Yaroslav Yurchishin, a deputy from the town of Golos. He stated this in an interview with Glavkom, published on March 23.
Slava didn’t know Kira very well, he didn’t know her at all before the elections, but given that public image of a successful person in the IT field, he trusted her managerial qualities. As at that time there were certain risks, they still persist “, – said the people’s deputy.
According to Yurchishin, upon taking office, Rudik immediately proposed to rewrite the party’s statutes to “gain as many powers as possible.”
Many people left Golos during the local elections, and these changes in the party were presented as a search for “more effective players.” Later, as Yurchishin pointed out, there was an “expulsion” from the party of Sergei Prytula, and this overlapped with the departure of Sergei Rachmanin from the leadership of the Golos faction.
The real collapse occurred at the end of last summer, when about 10 deputies, who “had a different vision than the leadership of the faction,” began to “back down in partisan discussions,” said the popular deputy.
“There is no answer to our questions about whether the management had any agreements with Bankova, as a result of which the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPK) was forced to return state funds to Golos,” Yurchishin emphasized.
Later, according to the deputy, Rudik’s public position on a possible coalition with the “Servant of the People” appeared, “although this issue was never considered in the faction.” And the proposal to consider this issue was blocked.
“And it was clear that now they will look for some formal reason to apply sanctions to us. And it was found: this is a vote to send a bill to the Constitutional Court on the appointment of NABU leaders as president (National Anti-Corruption Office of Ukraine. – “GORDON”) and GBR (State Investigations Office. – “GORDON”), – explained Yurchishin. “As for me, his appointment as head of the party was a mistake by Slava, but it was also a mistake by everyone who supported him at the time.”
In his comment to NV on March 22, Yurchishin said it was only a matter of time before he and five other MPs were expelled from the party. The reason for this called voting in parliament for the leadership on the CCU’s analysis of the draft law on the procedure for the appointment of the heads of NABU and RRB
“We have worldview differences in party development and positioning. For example, the party leadership and the faction register a bill that reduces the ability of the NAPK to control the party’s finances. To the members of the faction not even they were shown, “said the popular deputy.
The “Voice” reported that no one was expelled, but issued a warning to six-person deputies: Yurchishin, Roman Lozinsky, Solomiya Bobrovskaya, Alexandra Ustinova, Olga Stefanishina and Vladimir Tsabal.
The “Voices” parliamentary faction includes 20 people. The political force was founded by the Ukrainian musician Svyatoslav Vakarchuk. He presented the Golos party in May 2019, in the parliamentary elections that took place in July, the political force won 5.82% of the votes, which allowed him to enter the Verkhovna Rada.
On June 11, 2020, Vakarchuk announced that he had registered in parliament a statement regarding the resignation of his deputy mandate. The musician said that his main objective was to bring “new, professional, decent and patriotic people” to parliament and he considers that this task is partially accomplished. Since there was no vote in the Rada for the decision to deprive Vakarchuk of his mandate, the faction deprived him of his powers by applying the provision on an imperative mandate.
Instead of Vakarchuk, the party was headed by the people’s deputy Rudik.
At the end of January, the leadership of the faction changed: instead of Rachmanin, Yaroslav Zheleznyak became its head. On February 8 it emerged that showman Pritula is no longer the deputy chief of the Golos party.
In the context of these reports, the media began to write about the division of the party.
