Late at night, Apple, as planned, released the final versions of its new operating systems: iOS 14, iPadOS 14, tvOS 14 and watchOS 7.
In its presentation on September 15, Apple announced that updates to iOS, iPadOS, tvOS and watchOS will be released the next day, which was a big surprise for the developers; It typically took several weeks to prepare before launch, and this year the new iOS even outperformed the new generation of iPhones. Interestingly, Apple began rolling out updates a couple of hours later than usual, leaving many anxious, and many media outlets were quick to report the update in advance. Be that as it may, the company kept its word.
IOS 14 can be installed on all smartphones, starting with the iPhone 6S.
The update is distributed automatically over the air. You can speed up this process by going to the appropriate section of the settings and clicking on the button responsible for checking the availability of the latest updates.
IOS 14 features comprehensive custom widgets, an application library with the function of automatically classifying applications into folders and directories, system-wide support for picture-in-picture mode for simultaneous video playback and application launching, the ability to hide “additional” home screens with applications, as well as a new interface Calls and Siri: they no longer occupy the entire screen. Another notable innovation in iOS 14 is app clips. These are independent functional parts of the applications in the form of cards that start quickly without the need to fully install the entire application. It is true that it is not yet known when this functionality will be available for Ukrainians.

iPadOS 14 brings all the innovations of iOS 14, as well as several extras: the design of the application interface has been redesigned for the large screen of the tablet and new functions related to the Apple Pencil stylus have been added (the handwriting entry in search or notes bar).
watchOS 7 adds more watch faces, the ability to share custom watch faces, sleep tracking, and a hand wash timer, and tvOS 14 provides support for 4K YouTube videos.
