Poltava “Vorskla” joined the number of examiners of the newcomer teams of the Ukrainian Premier League in the new season. The annoying hit of the ball in Semenko’s hand when Stepanyuk was shot from the left wing gave Kana a chance to finally secure the score at the briefing with a penalty kick. Ibrahim calmly faced his task, bursting into the upper left corner. After this episode, a real in-game charade began. Emotionally, Kozak went to fake a foul in someone else’s penalty area by Chesnakov as he served from the right wing, but Mozharovsky, who was nearby, immediately awarded the invited player a second warning for him.
In the minority, the Ingulets didn’t get a chance to win again. Lavrinenko’s succession of substitutions that followed the dismissal didn’t help either. The restructuring in the course of the game is a maneuver that the team that has just reached the “elite” has yet to learn in the future. And, at the end of the second round, Poltava is at the top of the tournament table!
In the next round, Vorskla Poltava will have an away match against Alexandria, while Ingulets will play a nominally home match at Zirka Stadium in Kropyvnytskyi against Desna Chernihiv.
