An explosion occurred in the Obolonsky district of Kiev near the public reception of the leader of one of the political parties. Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident, metropolitan police said on Sunday, November 29.

“Tonight, the police station on duty received a message about a probable explosion near one of the premises on Zoya Gaidai street. At the scene, law enforcement officials established that a grenade explosion probably occurred at the public reception of the leader of one of the political parties. There were no casualties. the fence and the doors of the house are damaged, “says the message.

According to the head of the Obolonsky police department, Yevgeny Khudyakov, law enforcement officers at the scene of the incident carried out priority investigative actions.

“The explosives technicians found deformed metal fragments, the remains of a grenade, which were seized and sent for the corresponding examinations. Now law enforcement officers are carrying out a series of investigation and search actions aimed at establishing all the circumstances of this incident and the people involved in it, “Khudyakov said.

The Investigation Department of the Obolonskiy Police Department has initiated two criminal proceedings under articles on vandalism and illegal manipulation of weapons and ammunition (part 4 of article 296, part 1 of article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
