The father of the only cadet who survived the plane crash is an aviator and had an emergency several times.

The father of the only cadet to survive the An-26 crash, Vitaly Zolochevsky, survived three plane crashes. On Saturday, September 26, he told the Today site about this.

“I fell three times. The fact that my son survived means that he is his father’s son,” Vitaly Zolochevsky said.

The man also added that his son Vyacheslav only received bruises as a result of the accident.

“Everyone says he jumped out of the plane, but that’s not entirely true. He was thrown, he was pushed. I also know he tried to save his friend,” he explained.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Vyacheslav Zolochevsky, a 20-year-old cadet who survived the plane crash near Kharkov, in hospital.
