The head of the Ukrainian delegation of the Trilateral Contact Group, Leonid Kravchuk, said that Ukraine will seek an alternative to the Minsk agreements if Russia admits it wants war. In this case, Ukraine will seek other formats to resolve the situation in Donbas.
Kravchuk told RBC-Ukraine about this.
He noted that the OSCE Special Representative in Ukraine and the Trilateral Contact Group, Heidi Grau, already have a Ukrainian plan for the Donbass and Russia’s “road map”.
“You don’t need to fool us, we won’t play music at someone else’s wedding. We want peace in Ukraine; if you want war, then you have to say it. And then we will look for other formats, other influences for peace has come to Ukraine,” he said. .
At the same time, Kravchuk added that the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG asks Russia to work together to develop a joint document to achieve peace in the Donbass.
We will recall, previously Kravchuk proposed a possible alternative to the trilateral negotiations on Donbass, should the Minsk format fail.
