Almost 700 Armenian and NKR servicemen died in Karabakh

The Armenian Defense Ministry and the NKR reported their losses in the conflict, Azerbaijan did not disclose the data.

Since the beginning of the escalation of the Karabakh conflict on September 27, 682 soldiers from Armenia and the army of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic have been killed.

Then, on Friday, October 9, the Armenian Defense Ministry published the names of 26 more soldiers killed. Previously, 280 deaths were reported.

The NKR Defense Ministry reports 26 more military deaths per day. In total, 376 soldiers have died since the start of the conflict.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan does not disclose its losses, it only reports on civilian deaths.

According to the General Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan, as of October 9, since the beginning of the aggravation in Nagorno-Karabakh, 31 civilians have been killed and 164 injured.

“The number of houses that have become unusable for housing is 1054, civilian objects that have become unusable is 142, the number of multi-apartment residential buildings that have become unusable for housing is 45,” the message says.

At the same time, the NKR Defense Ministry announced yesterday that Azerbaijan had lost 4,069 soldiers in battles, as well as a large amount of military equipment.
