Schools apply an approved algorithm to detect coronavirus
Since September 1, schools have not opened in the regions of the “red” zone, in other regions they are working, but some are in quarantine.
Since the beginning of the school year, due to the coronavirus disease among schoolchildren, 145 classes have entered self-isolation, Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said on Thursday, September 10.
“As of September 1, our children went to school. And today we have 145 classes … they were sent to self-isolation. 145 of the 199,704 classes in the country. They were sent, respectively, on the recommendation of doctors, epidemiologists during the epidemiological investigation. “, – said the minister.
According to him, 9,414 children fell ill with coronavirus in Ukraine, including 178 during the previous day.
“During the last day, 2582 people became ill in Ukraine. Of these, 178 children, as well as 157 medical workers. 400 people were hospitalized. During the last day, 44 deaths were recorded in Ukraine,” Stepanov said.
“During the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 145,612 people fell ill. Of them, 9,414 children, as well as 12,463 medical workers,” added the minister.
He also noted that during the last day, a record number of tests were carried out: 29,708 by PCR and 25,795 by ELISA.
Recall, according to the algorithm of actions in case of confirmation of the coronavirus in the school, the entire class and teachers in contact will be sent to self-isolation for two weeks.
