Azerbaijani army units continue to carry out offensive in Karabakh

Aliyev stated that the Armenian armed forces violated the agreed humanitarian ceasefire.

The Azerbaijani army occupied 13 more villages in the Jebrail region of Nagorno-Karabakh. This was reported on Monday, October 19, by the Anadolu news agency with reference to the statement by the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

According to him, the villages of Soltanli, Emirvarli, Mashanli, Hasanli, Alikeikhanli, Gumlag, Hajili, Goyerchinveisalli, Niyazguzlar, Kechel Memmedli, Shahvelli, Haji Ismayilli and Isagly Jabrayil were under the control of Azerbaijan.

Aliyev stated that the Armenian armed forces violated the agreed humanitarian ceasefire and, starting at 12:02 on 18 October, used heavy artillery to bombard residential areas and combat positions of the Azerbaijani army.

It should be recalled that the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, announced on Saturday October 17 the capture of the city of Fizuli and seven villages of Nagorno-Karabakh under the control of the army.
