If the coronavirus is detected in a student, then the teachers in contact will be sent to self-isolation for two weeks.

The head of the Ministry of Health, Maxim Stepanov, named an algorithm of actions in case a case of coronavirus is detected in the school. He said this in a briefing on Monday, August 31.

Then, teachers in the school who have come into contact with infected children will undergo self-isolation for 14 days by decision of the epidemiologist and family doctor. In addition, this will depend on the degree and type of contact with an infected COVID-19, which are determined individually.

In turn, parents of students with a confirmed diagnosis will necessarily self-isolate. As for the parents of schoolchildren who have come into contact with the infected, they should not be quarantined for two weeks, but this will also be decided by doctors, depending on the situation.

At the same time, they will not screen all contact students for coronavirus if an infection is detected in the classroom, as the Ministry of Health does not see the point in this.

Remember that COVID-19 in one student will send the whole class into self-isolation. At the same time, the study will not stop there, but will take place online.
