Another member of the presidium of the coordinating council in Belarus, Svetlana Aleksievich, left the country. Her departure is not related to the criminal prosecution of the members of this council.
The local portal TUT.BY writes about this.
According to his assistant, Aleksievich went to Germany.
“… he flew away on personal matters. He has scheduled meetings, a book fair in Sweden, he will be presented with an award in Sicily,” he said.
The assistant confirmed that Aleksievich’s departure was not related to the criminal case.
It should be noted that Svetlana Aleksievich, before leaving the country, was the only member of the presidium of the coordinating council, who remained at large in Belarus.
Let us remember that the member of the presidium Maria Kolesnikova, previously detained, was taken into custody until November. She is accused of attempting to seize state power and was reportedly arrested while trying to leave for Ukraine. At the same time, her supporters claim that she deliberately broke her passport when they tried to expel her from the country.
Another arrested member of the coordinating council presidium, Maxim Znak, went on a hunger strike.
