The situation in Donbass has worsened in the last day, separatists violated the ceasefire twice, a Ukrainian soldier was killed and another was injured. This was announced on Monday, September 7, in the press center of the Joint Forces operations headquarters.

It is noted that the enemy fired at the positions of the Ukrainian defenders near Krasnohorivka with bursts from a trestle-mounted automatic grenade launcher. As a result of the bombing, a member of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was injured. He received medical assistance on time and was transferred to a hospital.

In another sector of the front, the enemy opened directed small arms fire at Ukrainian positions near Prichepilovka in the Lugansk region. As a result of the bombing, a Ukrainian military man died.

In addition, on the last day, the separatists fired two provocative shots with a grenade launcher in the area of ​​the village of Shumy.

“Since the beginning of this day, on September 7, no enemy bombardments were registered in all the areas of responsibility of the Ukrainian sub-units,” the headquarters said, noting that silence was maintained throughout the demarcation line.

As reported, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba started an urgent conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov due to the breaking of the truce.
