Also in the country there is no ban on massive events, despite the fact that experts from the World Health Organization asked the authorities to introduce restrictive measures.
According to the Belarus Ministry of Health, on May 12, 142 patients with COVID-19 died in the country. In total, 24 873 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in Belarus, 6974 were cured.
Belarusian opposition journalists believe that official statistics on COVID-19 in the country are not reliable.
