Normandy advisers meeting still in force
All of Ukraine’s key partners have been informed that the ceasefire has been violated and that the separatists have thwarted it.
The advisory-level meeting of the leaders of the four Normandy countries is still in force and the question of the death of the Ukrainian army in Donbas will be raised. This was announced on Monday, September 7, by Ukroainy Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, on the air of the ICTV channel.
“As of now, the advisers’ meeting continues as scheduled and Ukraine is preparing very carefully. And of course the death of our soldiers will be one of those issues that will be discussed very hard,” said the minister.
According to him, what is happening recently in eastern Ukraine was provoked by the start of the election campaign in Ukraine and the upcoming meetings of advisers and leaders of the “Normandy”.
“I have the strong impression that the Russian armed war party took a step yesterday and today. It is obvious that it is not in vain that this is happening right now.” <...> We have political forces for which, within the campaign (pre-electoral – ed.), Any bad news from the East scores points, ”Kuleba stressed.
The Foreign Minister also noted that all key Ukrainian partners supporting the ceasefire were informed that the ceasefire was violated and that it was thwarted by separatists.
“But so far there has been no reaction. <...> I am convinced that, given the sensitivity of the situation, it will be studied in depth in international capitals, and then there will be feedback ”, summarized the minister.
Recall that in Donbass the separatists violated the truce: not far from Prichepilovka in the Lugansk region, a Ukrainian military man died and another was wounded in the Krasnohorivka area.
