Moldova prepares for the running of the bulls
The Supreme Security Council of Moldova recommends accelerating the vaccination against the coronavirus and opening the online registration for everyone who wants to be vaccinated.
Moldova’s Supreme Security Council (VSB) recommended that the government and parliament declare a state of emergency in Moldova for two weeks, Moldovan President Maia Sandu said after the council meeting, Newsmaker reports.
“Due to the deterioration of the situation and poor prognoses, we decided that stricter measures were needed. We are talking about the security and interests of the state. At the meeting we heard harsh comments from health professionals: the losses are comparable to a plane crash with our citizens. Hide your head in the sand, “said Sandu.
The President noted that, together with the VNB, she recommends that the government develop a detailed plan for a new state of emergency within three days and present it to parliament for approval.
According to the city council’s decision, the plan should have new stricter restrictions, as well as a list of citizens who will be affected by them and compensation for those who cannot work.
According to Sandu, according to VSB estimates, payments to those without income should amount to about 1,000 lei a week (about 1,500 hryvnias).
WBC also recommends speeding up vaccinations and opening the online registry for everyone who wants to get vaccinated, developing a drug delivery plan for those receiving treatment at home, and increasing the amount of testing.
