On Sunday, October 11, it emerged of the arrest in Zaporozhye of a 23-year-old man who raped a three-year-old girl who was his goddaughter. In court, he justified it by the fact that it was a “journalistic investigation”.
This is stated in the decision of the Ordzhonikidze District Court of Zaporozhye.
The court then sentenced the man to seven years in prison. The suspect admitted his guilt, but explained his actions for the intentions of conducting a journalistic investigation in order to expose pedophiles. The detainee himself graduated from the university’s journalism faculty and worked as an operator for a local television channel.
The criminal was arrested in June of last year. During a search of his home, they found computer equipment, as well as hundreds of explicit photographic and video materials with the participation of children. He posted them on one of the Telegram channels.
Let us remember that Lviv was shocked by the story of the rape of girls aged 11 to 14 in a children’s camp, which for 15 years was committed by its organizer and leader.
In addition, “Strana” said that in Cherkassy, a 60-year-old drunk man invited a 14-year-old teenager to a cafe, and there he began to tease and “fire” her. He was detained by the police, now law enforcement officers are investigating the incident.
