In France, near the city of Saint-Just, a man opened fire on police officers. As a result, three gendarmes died and another was injured.

BFMTV reports.

The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on December 23. Police came to one of the houses to call for domestic violence. The gendarmes tried to save a woman who was hiding from her husband on the roof of the house. At that moment, a 48-year-old man opened fire on the police. He also set his house on fire.

As a result, three law enforcement officers died and another was injured. Now his life is not in danger. The woman was saved. She is safe.

As the police pointed out, the man who opened fire on the police managed to escape. The law enforcement operation to find the shooter now continues.

We will remember, recently in New York, an unknown person opened fire near the Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist. Law enforcement officers managed to injure and arrest the shooter, but he later died in hospital.

It was also reported that in early November, in the Austrian capital Vienna, there was a shooting near a synagogue. As a result, a policeman was injured.
