In Crimea, a new stage was announced to cut the water supply to local residents in order to save water resources.
This was reported by “Crimea.Realii” with reference to the “head of administration” of Alushta Galina Ogneva.
So the water will be cut off from September 13 to Alushta, Partenit and Maly Mayak.
“That is to say: at night from 23:00 to 05:00, the pressure in the water supply system will be reduced. There will be water, but it will flow at low pressure. This is a temporary measure, but it will help save money and avoid a total lack of water ”. – He said, without sharing his plans to continue solving the problem.
According to her, the water remained in the Izobilnenskoye Reservoir until December, subject to austerity. Ogneva also called on Crimeans to abandon the prudent drinking of water from jerry cans at night.
In turn, the head of the company “Crimean Water” Vladimir Bezhenov said that water resources are being depleted too fast throughout the peninsula.
Note that a decrease in the water level in all Crimean reservoirs brings the introduction of an emergency regime closer. At the moment, the water sometimes appears intermittently throughout the Simferopol region, where most Crimeans live, and Bakhchisarai. There the third, the most severe stage of water supply restrictions was introduced.
Let us remind you that the peninsula continues to blame Ukraine for its own problems under the new government. Therefore, the “head” of annexed Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, said that criminal cases should be started against the initiators of stopping the water supply to the peninsula from Ukraine. In response, the representative of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Elizabeth Throssell, said that the Russian Federation is primarily responsible for supplying water to Crimea.
As reported by “Strana”, in Crimea, after the upper part of the Belogorsk reservoir dried up, the middle part of the reservoir completely dried up. Only a small part remains, which borders the dam. Then it became known that the volume of the Chernorechensky reservoir, which is located in the Sevastopol region in annexed Crimea, has significantly decreased in recent months.
