A man was killed in a traffic accident near Odessa involving a police patrol. Two were injured, according to the Odessa region police press service.

“Today around 19:00, a Hyundai Sonata collided with an official Toyota Prius at the Dachnoe checkpoint on the Kiev-Odessa highway. As a result of an accident, a Hyundai passenger died,” the message says.

The circumstances of the fatal accident are being established. The patrol cars were suspended from work. The issue of the legal qualification of the event is being resolved.

On the Telegram channel *, the first Kherson reported that the Hyundai Sonata car was moving from Odessa to Kiev.

“The police on the dividing line wanted to turn around and go to the call in the direction of Kiev … Sonata saw an obstacle, first she flew to the top and then to the police car,” the message says.

As we wrote earlier, near Kiev, a jeep ran over a teenager in a crosswalk. Doctors diagnosed a 15-year-old boy with open fractures of both legs, he was urgently hospitalized.
