On the line of contact near the urban-type settlement of Stanytsia Luganskaya in the Lugansk region, a forest fire broke out on 1 September. During its extinction, an explosive device detonated, causing suffering to the lifeguard.
The State Service for Emergency Situations (GSChS) reports this on Facebook.
“On September 1, during the extinguishing of a fire on the grass floor near the village of Stanytsia Luganskaya, an unidentified explosive object detonated, as a result of which the senior civil protection officer, the department commander, was injured. from the state fire and rescue unit 24. The rescuer was hospitalized. There is no threat to life. ” wrote the press service of the State Emergency Service.

Meanwhile, the president of the Stanichno-Lugansk regional state administration, Yuri Zolkin, reported more than ten explosions caused by the fire.
