In the Kharkiv region, a drunk car service employee stole a Lexus car from a 21-year-old customer and had an accident. This was reported by the regional department of the National Police on Tuesday, December 22.

Then, on the eve, the Lipetsk branch received a message about the illegal seizure of a Lexus RX 300 car. The police discovered that the 21-year-old girl had left her car at a service station in the town of Tsirkuny, region of Kharkiv, to repair it.

“The 37-year-old car service employee, being drunk, decided to take possession of the vehicle. While driving on the ring road near the eco-park, the man lost control and flew off the road into the forest belt,” says the message.

The criminal with multiple injuries was taken to a Kharkov hospital.

Information about the incident was entered in the Unified Register of Preliminary Investigations under the article on robbery (part 1 of article 289 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The offender faces up to five years in prison.

Earlier, in the Chernihiv region, an 80-year-old retiree stole a Lexus and left his bicycle. It later turned out that the owner of the car left it with the engine running, and the grandfather spontaneously decided to steal it.
