On October 14, near the building of the Office of the President of Ukraine, unidentified individuals displayed a banner with anti-Semitic statements. The police identify the people involved in the crime.

Participants of the march of nationalist and patriotic organizations October 14 near the building of the Office of the President of Ukraine unfolded a banner with an inscription containing signs of anti-Semitism, the Telegram channel of the United Jewish Community of Ukraine reported.

The banner read: “Ukrainians! Celebrating the anniversary of the occupation and looting of Ukraine by the Jewish Dnieper clan of Vova Zelensky.”

“The United Jewish Community of Ukraine declares that this is anti-Semitism – holding Jews responsible for actual or outrageous misconduct by certain Jewish individuals or groups, or for actions committed by non-Jews,” the report said.

The executive director of the community appealed to law enforcement officials with an official statement regarding the anti-Semitic statements of the protesters, the press service of the Ukrainian National Police reported on 15 October.

“Law enforcement officers, as part of a pre-trial investigation, identify the persons involved in the commission of this crime. Punishment is envisaged, ranging from a fine to a prison sentence of up to three years,” police said in a statement.

The National Police initiated criminal proceedings under Part 1 of art. 161 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the equality of citizens according to their race, nationality, religious beliefs, disability and other reasons).
