Miners accused Bitmain of supplying defective Antminer S17 +

Bitmain has been accused by several mining companies of supplying defective Antminer S17 + devices.

Co-founder of the American company WATTUM Arseny Grusha wrote in LinkedInthat a month later every third miner encountered problems.

The situation affected other users who joined in Telegram group and they require Bitmain to recover damages.

WATTUM’s losses alone, according to company representatives, amount to hundreds of thousands of dollars, as the miners were bought in large quantities on the eve of Halvinga.

ForkLog solicited comments from Bitmain.

The previous products of the Antminer 17 line are already criticized Chinese users also claimed that the failure rate of Antminer T17 and S17 + devices reaches 30%.
