Many young talents who can benefit the state remain on the periphery, said the head of the Presidential Office, Andrei Yermak. It initiated the creation of a regional personnel reserve for the central authorities.

In Ukraine, it is necessary to create a list of ambitious young people from regions capable of working for the state. This was announced in a conference call with the heads of regional state administrations on May 5 by the head of the Presidential Office Andrei Yermak, reports the press service of the head of state.

“Today, there are several government positions that still remain vacant. Finding a professional person with high moral values who is ready to dedicate himself to working for the state is not so simple,” the official admitted.

According to him, with the current personnel policy, young people in Kiev will find it easier to build a career in the central authorities, while at the same time, many talents remain on the periphery.

The Minister of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Aleksey Chernyshov said at the meeting that the formation of a personnel reserve started two months ago. Regional authorities provided a list of 300 potential candidates, but only a few dozen qualified, he complained.

Ermak invited the heads of the RSA to present the positions of the deputies “to work with young talents”.

The fact that Ukraine lacked high-quality civil service personnel was discussed in April by the first vice-president of the Servant of the People faction in Verkhovna Rada, the head of the Servant of the People party Alexander Kornienko.

Today there are four vacancies in the Cabinet of Ministers.
