Not long ago, Geely unveiled its largest crossover, and just a few days later the car was already in dealerships. However, only the Chinese have so far.
The new crossover, called Geely HaoYue, is in fact the brand’s largest SUV. It has a length of 4835 mm, a width of 1900 mm, a height of 1780 mm and a wheelbase of 2815 mm (clearance – 190 mm). At the same time, the car is available not only in a 5 and 6-seater interior configuration, but also in a 7-seater version. If the second and third rows are folded, a trunk is formed for 2050 liters of space; Thanks to this, the car can translate, for example, a refrigerator or a large LCD TV.
In addition to this, Geely’s new crossover was also affordable: China’s starting car price is 126,800 yuan, which is equivalent to $ 17,900. Although HaoYue seems completely non-budgetary.
Externally, the car stands out with a solid design with a high hood and a waistline, as well as pronounced muscular wheel arches. It also has many chrome and LED lenses.
Inside, the cross draws attention with a digital board and a large multimedia screen. The interior decoration as a whole is elegant, without contradictory decisions.
Finally, Geely HaoYue has a solid list of options: matrix lighting, leather upholstery, four-zone climate control, panoramic roof, versatile cameras, and adaptive cruise control.
As for the engines, the novelty is offered with two turbo engines: a three-cylinder, 1.5-liter engine for 174 hp, and 225 Nm, and a four-cylinder, 1.8-liter Boyue Pro engine, which develops 181 hp. and 300 Nm. Transmission: 7-speed “robot” with two clutches, front wheel drive (base) or full drive (optional).
