A new coronavirus outbreak was detected in Lugansk occupied in one of the local hospitals. This was reported by Donbass Realities, with reference to local doctors.

Several doctors and employees at Hospital No. 4 are reported to have received a positive test for COVID-19. At least the chief physician, chief accountant, driver, and chief physician’s secretary are known to have become ill. It is also reported that this hospital specializes in receiving patients with COVID-19.

To date, representatives of the self-proclaimed “Lugansk People’s Republic” have not informed the infected doctors, but on the eve they announced the closure of the outpatient department due to an increase in the number of patients.

We will recall, earlier in Lugansk revealed a coronavirus outbreak in an emergency substation. The diagnosis was reported to be confirmed in 12 employees. At the same time, the first to hire a doctor was a patient who had a fever for four days.

We will note, previously in the Cabinet of Ministers estimated the number of inhabitants of the occupied Donbass. According to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Reintegration Alexei Reznikov, around 1.6 million people live in the occupied regions.
