The passive coronavirus vaccine COVID-19 was created by the Israeli Institute for Biological Research. This was reported by the Jerusalem Post, citing a statement from the country’s Defense Ministry.
“There has been significant progress in the search for an antidote to COVID-19,” the Israeli Defense Ministry and the Institute for Biological Research said in a joint statement.
The antidote recognizes the virus and neutralizes it in the patient’s body, according to Israeli doctors and military. They highlight that the creation of the vaccine is complete.
Now the institute will patent the vaccine and sign a contract for its commercial development.
However, before the start of industrial vaccine production, several complex and lengthy procedures must be completed. They can take from several months to several years.
