Lucasfilm announced that Oscar-winning Taika Waititi, who had starred in the final episode of the first season of The Mandalore, became the director of an unnamed film in the Star Wars universe.
He will write the screenplay for the picture, and with him Christie Wilson-Cairns, who worked on the military drama “1917.”
Leslie Hadland (“Matryoshka Lives”) also became the producer of another series of franchises. There are no details of the project, but before there were rumors that a girl will be in the center of the plot. Presumably, we are talking about Dr. Afra, who collaborated with Darth Vader.
