NBU raised the official exchange rate of the euro

The European single currency has risen in price by 21 cents.

On May 5, 2020, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) set the euro at a level of UAH 29.50 per euro, which is 21 kopecks higher compared to the previous bank day. This is evidenced by the data on the regulator’s website.

The official rate for the euro as of May 5 is set at this level: 29,5078 hryvnias per euro (+0.2139 UAH). At the same time, the exchange rate of the euro on May 4 is 29.2939 hryvnias per euro.

Remember that today, May 4, 2020, the cash market rate increased by 9 kopecks to 29.54 hryvnia per euro. The average purchase rate for the euro is 29.06 (29.03 – April 30), sales – 29.54 (29.45 – April 30) UAH per euro.

At the same time, on the interbank market, the euro for sale increased by 17 kopecks to 29.45 hryvnia per euro. The purchase rate is 29.42 hryvnia per euro.

On May 5, 2020, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) set the official exchange rate at 26.97 hryvnias to the dollar, which is 2 kopecks more than the previous bank day. The official exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar as of May 5 was set at this level: 26.9749 hryvnias for 1 dollar (+0.0157 UAH). At the same time, the exchange rate of the dollar on May 4 is 26.9592 hryvnias for 1 dollar.
