The KoreanCarBlog portal has distributed a photo of the interior of the new Hyundai Tucson. The saloon was struck by the unusual architecture of the front panel: the design of the infotainment system cluster and climate control unit stands out from other Kia-Hyundai cars.
In many current Hyundai cars, the “tidy” and the display of the multimedia complex are at the same level, and the climate control is regulated by a washing machine. In the updated cross, the touch screen of the multimedia system is located under the dash in a common group with the sensor unit of the air conditioning system.
At Tucson’s flagship trim levels there will be a virtual “order” with a 10.25-inch screen. Between the front panel and the central tunnel there will be a niche for wireless charging of mobile devices, a USB port and a 12V socket. Along with the traditional gear shift selector, a remote control with buttons will appear.
Regarding the line of engines, the fourth-generation Tucson will acquire a new 2.5-liter Theta3 family gasoline turbo engine. It will be combined with an 8-band “automatic”. This engine will complement the standard variation of automobiles for the United States. In addition, the cross will receive a rechargeable hybrid variation, which is necessary to promote the model on the European market.
In addition to the unusual interior, the new Tucson is known to take on a bold design. According to the assumptions, the exterior of the new model will be executed based on the Vision T conceptual model.
Perhaps the debut of the novelty will take place later this year, as a crossover from the 2021 model year, but the Korean company may postpone the release for next year regarding the coronavirus.
