In Russia, they are preparing for the worst: A new wave of coronavirus infections and the extension of some quarantine restrictions until the creation of a vaccine are awaited at the Ministry of Health.

This was stated by the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Murashko, reports RIA Novosti.

According to Murashko, some restrictions may remain until the moment a coronavirus vaccine is invented. He did not specify what restrictions would remain.

Nor did it rule out another spike and even a new wave if the collective immunity is not formed.

The head of the Russian Ministry of Health also added that it is necessary to create a system that saves the country from a new epidemic.

Remember that the incidence of coronavirus in Russia at best may start to decrease in June.

As reported by “Strana”, according to forecasts by the Ministry of Health, at this time the scenario of the epidemic in Ukraine suggests that no more than 2% of people will contract the coronavirus. Given the information from the State Statistics Service, the agency expects a coronavirus infection of 800,000 people.
