Xpeng, a Chinese manufacturer of electric cars, has released a powerful patented electric sedan.
The manufacturer Xpeng is confident that its new product can undermine Tesla’s hegemony. After all, the Xpeng P7 sedan is cheaper than the Model 3 and has a wide range – 706 km on a single charge.
According to the New Atlas publication, the Xpeng P7 received a sophisticated design with smooth surfaces and smooth curves.
The Xpeng P7 is built on the chassis that Xpeng developed with Porsche. Brakes on Brembo car, Bosch anti-lock braking system. In addition, the sedan is designed according to the third level of autonomy: there are 14 cameras that provide a panoramic view, 12 ultrasonic sensors and five radars that operate at a distance of 200 meters during rain, fog or frost.
The electric car is equipped with Nvidia Drive AGX Xavier computers, which can perform up to 30 billion operations per second, consuming just 30 watts of power.

Automotive software solutions were developed by Xpeng specialists. Its functionality includes adaptive cruise control, a lane departure warning, an autopilot for driving along the road, assistance in recognizing traffic signals, and parking.
The cheapest version of the Xpeng P7іz with a 568 km cruising range and rear-wheel drive was estimated at $ 32,000.
The battery-powered version for 706 km of travel costs $ 36,000.
The all-wheel drive sports modification, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.3 seconds, costs $ 48,000.
