Former Ukraine striker Evgeny Seleznev, who plays for Turkish Barsaspor, explained why he speaks Russian in everyday life.
In an interview with Tribune, Seleznev said he did not understand why people were divided by language. According to him, there are many who shout and sing that they are Ukrainians, but that they are doing everything against Ukraine.
“I think differently I have done a lot for Ukraine, therefore I am Ukrainian. You don’t even stick your tongue out at me, “Seleznev said.
The footballer added that he understands the Ukrainian language, but does not communicate in it, because he does not want to.
