Zhanna Friske battled brain cancer until the past few days. A year after she was diagnosed with a tumor, Jeanne went into remission and recovered in Jurmala, on the Riga coast. There, the singer rested with her relatives: mother Olga Vladimirovna, younger sister Natalya and her young son Plato.

Later, Friske’s colleague in the Brilliant group Anna Semenovich recalled that she had spoken to Jeanne on the phone at the time, and that she was full of hope and brilliant plans. The singer was going to officially sign with her husband, Dmitry Shepelev, and give birth to another son of hers: a girl. Semenovich recalls: At that time, Friske had no doubt that he would recover. However, the disease soon relapsed and did not free Jeanne from her clutches.

It is difficult to recognize the singer: she became very fat after the treatment. However, this is the same star that drove dozens of fans crazy.
