Kolomoisky’s suspicion
NABU Director Artem Sytnik said the Ukrainian National Anti-Corruption Bureau is approaching a suspicious statement to businessman Igor Kolomoisky in the PrivatBank case. One of the items under investigation is the theft of state property on an especially large scale.

The Foreign Ministry expressed the requirements for countries wishing to host Ukrainian workers. The Ukrainian side raises a number of requirements, in particular: official employment guaranteed for at least three months, organizing the departure of groups of workers, ensuring their observation both after arriving in the country where they will work, and upon returning home, health insurance and a decent salary level.
NBU forecast
The regulator said that in the second quarter of 2020, the Ukrainian economy will drop 11% due to quarantine and reduced demand on the world market. At the same time, the NBU hopes that after the removal of major restrictions in Ukraine and the world, the economy will begin to recover in a V-shape.
The protest in Lviv
In Lviv, small business representatives organized a protest rally near the city council demanding “to restore the constitutional right to work.” Individual entrepreneurs reported significant losses and the forced dismissal of workers, as well as considering the situation in which a large company during quarantine only increases profits to be unfair.

In Ukraine, during the last day, 455 new cases of coronavirus were registered, in total 10 861 cases of COVID-19 disease in the country. At the same time, 1,413 people (+175 days) have already recovered from coronavirus infection in Ukraine, including 268 medical workers.

The Center for the Study of Infectious Diseases at the University of Minnesota in the United States said the coronavirus pandemic could last for two years. According to the authors of the report, a pandemic may take control after the emergence of collective immunity in 2/3 of the world population.
WB gave money
The World Bank decided to provide Ukraine with additional funds of $ 150 million to assist low-income citizens. As part of the additional funding, $ 50 million will be used to combat the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bad leadership
The WHO said that the spread of the coronavirus in Belarus is one of the highest in Europe. By the amount of SARS-CoV-2 infected by 1 million people, Belarus is ahead of neighboring countries.
