Ukraine News:According to Lyashko, thanks to the quarantine, Ukraine managed to avoid a recurrence of the situation in Italy.
Thanks to the quarantine, Ukraine managed to avoid a recurrence of the situation in Italy, which had to introduce classifications of people to whom to provide medical care and who not to provide it.
This was announced by Chief Medical Officer Viktor Lyashko on his Facebook page.
According to him, quarantine was introduced in Ukraine to ensure the ability of the health system to respond to cases of coronavirus disease.
In Europe, cases of new serious illnesses in children were recorded.
“We tried to avoid a recurrence of the situation in Italy, which had to introduce a selection of people who should be given medical care and who should not be provided. And we succeeded. Two months of quarantine yielded results,” he stressed.
The head of health assured that today in Ukraine there is an opportunity to provide medical care, including resuscitation measures, to all who need it.
