Representatives of the Ukrainian delegation will not participate in the meetings of the political subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group until the “public expert” Maya Pirogova is excluded.
This was announced on the air of the television channel Ukraine 24 by the head of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG Leonid Kravchuk. He noted that they are trying to achieve that decision through the OSCE chairman and moderator in the contact group Heidi Grau.
“I wrote to our OSCE moderator, Ms. Heidi Grau, requesting that this person not be able to participate in the negotiations and that she have a separate window for negotiations. The Ukrainian delegation has already demonstrated its position: as soon as this person appears in the negotiations, we will not even explain why, but we are leaving the negotiations for the period until Heidi Grau achieves her exclusion from the negotiation process, “explained Kravchuk.
He added that he did not know if Pirogova would appear at the next subgroup meeting, as there was information about her illness.
Recall that Maya Pirogova, whom Russia is trying to impose on the TCG, was convicted in 2007 for fraud and apartment scam, and in 2018 – for terrorism (in absentia).
As OBOZREVATEL reported, on March 17 the meeting of the political subgroup was canceled due to their presence.
