The Russian Federation’s military satellite Kosmos-2525 left orbit, which it has been in since 2018, after which it burned up in Earth’s atmosphere over the Pacific Ocean.

It happened on April 1, according to data from the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD).

The satellite was launched on March 29, 2018 using a Soyuz-2.1v light-class launch vehicle from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome (Arkhangelsk region of the Russian Federation). According to media reports, the device was intended for remote sensing from Earth.

Let us remind you that this is not the first case of its kind with Russian satellites. Then, last year, the Kosmos-2491 spy device disintegrated in space. The US Air Force found evidence of this.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, Russia believes that the ideas of terraforming (transforming the atmosphere of another planet to create conditions like on Earth) of Mars, which were expressed in the United States, is a cover for the launch of nuclear weapons into space.
