Starting from April 1, Ukrainians will pay for gas with new tariffs, the amount of which is up to 8.85 UAH per cubic meter. At the same time, the law allows everyone to independently choose not only a provider, but also a rate plan.
This is stated in the OBOZREVATEL material. Since August 2020, all Ukrainians have the right to change providers at any time. To do this, you just need to go to the website of the company you want to buy blue fuel from and follow the instructions. Someone asks you to fill out a questionnaire, someone invites you to come to the service center.

Despite the abolition of state regulation, most companies left their bids at a level of up to UAH 7 per cubic meter… Among more than 60 providers, only 10 offered significantly higher rates than in March.

It is beneficial to subscribe an annual rate in summer, when the cost of natural gas is minimal. But if providers offer an annual rate in May, you may have to overpay in the summer. The price of gas changes monthly and those who choose the annual price pay the same monthly price.
As OBOZREVATEL previously wrote, in Ukraine from April 1, 2021, gas suppliers can set any price for blue fuel without Cabinet restrictions. As a result, several companies decided to increase the tariff from 6.99 to 8-25-8.85 UAH per cubic meter.
