In most regions, severe restrictions on coronavirus are being introduced as of April 3. In the Kiev region, the strict quarantine will last from April 5 to 10.
The Verkhovna Rada will respond immediately to the changing epidemiological situation if the Cabinet of Ministers submits a proposal to declare a state of emergency and the president issues a decree. On Friday April 2, the Rada spokesman said this on the air of the NASH television channel.
According to him, to date no such appeals to the Rada have been received.
“Regarding the issue of the state of emergency: in this case, if I am not mistaken, according to the law, the proposals must be presented by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, because this is an epidemiological situation, then they are considered by the President, who issues a decree. And for two days, but as practice shows, this happens before, the parliament must meet and vote for this decree within the walls of the Verkhovna Rada. Based on the current situation, it has not been received relevant information received from the president or the Cabinet of Ministers, “Razumkov said.
Razumkov added that the parliament, if necessary, is ready to take action depending on him.
Note that at the moment almost half of the regions and Kiev are in the “red” zone. Local authorities themselves are tightening restrictions.
As previously reported, the Chernigov city authorities decided to tighten the quarantine from April 5.
In the Vinnitsa region, quarantine has been strengthened
