The head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Andriy Shevchenko, commented on the draw against Kazakhstan (1: 1).

– I think when they create so many chances and then waste them … Unfortunately, this happens when the team that plays against us creates a moment and scores. And we still do not implement the moments that were.

I did not like the ending. We must have an organization, but our players have lost their positions. Therefore, the result is negative. I take full responsibility for myself.

He warned them during the break: “Guys, don’t waste your moments.” Those moments cannot be wasted. We have to close matches. I wish I was right.

– Three games a week, maybe the main reason why you didn’t get all three points today?

– No. I didn’t notice fatigue. Yes, there were players who got hooked a bit. We made replacements. We gave everyone the opportunity to play today. There was rotation in three games, I don’t see any problem with fatigue. I see concentration problems, not realization of moments.

I think this is a very serious call. We have to go back where we started. We have to become a team, because after all there are such alarming moments: they made a mistake there, they missed the moment, we were punished.

From the point of view of creating chances, the first half, in the second they were a bit confused, but after the goal they continued. We had to close the game in the first half.

– Is the missed goal a consequence of loss of concentration?

– Kazakhstan scored a good goal. There it was felt that it was possible to play closer, not to let the player hit. But this is a game time. We must make our moments. If we had realized our possibilities, the match would have ended in the first half.

– There were two controversial moments from the penalty spot over Moraes and Dovbik. Can you comment?

– I find it difficult to comment. I didn’t even see them in the game. Probably the judge knows better – Shevchenko said on the air of Football 1.
