UEFA’s Executive Committee made a number of important decisions on Wednesday, including admitting spectators to stadium stands during football matches.
The committee decided to lift the limitation of 30% of the total capacity of the sports field. This matter will now be the exclusive competence of the competent local or national authorities. The ban on visiting futsal competitions has also been lifted.
It should be noted that fans will continue to be prohibited from visiting the away competitions, which are held under the auspices of UEFA. This rule will also apply to the Champions League and Europa League finals, which will be played this May.
