In the second round of the tie for the 2022 World Cup, to be played in Qatar, the Turkish team paid a visit to Norway.
The guests did not experience any special problems with the rival and obtained a landslide victory, thanks to which they dodged Montenegro and settled in the front line of their group.
The Norwegians, who conceded three unanswered goals from the Turkish team, fell to fourth place, still with a single win in Gibraltar.
