Employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine died of coronavirus infection in a civil hospital where they were being treated.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 25 and 26 recorded two deaths from complications after COVID-19. In total, the coronavirus claimed the lives of 55 employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to the command of the medical forces on Facebook.

“At 10:00 am on March 27, 2,528 people were ill with acute respiratory illness COVID-19 in the Armed Forces of Ukraine … Unfortunately, there have been two more deaths from complications of COVID-19 (55 in total ) in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, “says the message.

Two employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who since March 22 were hospitalized in one of the hospitals in the Kiev region, died. Despite the prescribed treatment, his state of health deteriorated drastically.

The death of one of them was registered on March 25, another patient died the next day.

During the last day, 251 new cases of COVID were registered in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. There are 638 people in isolation (including self-isolation).

In total, 17,966 people have recovered since the start of the pandemic.

The army has vaccinated 18,266 people, of which 2,138 are military doctors. During the last day, 960 people were vaccinated.

We add that in Ukraine during the last day 290 deaths from coronavirus. Since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 1.6 million Ukrainians have contracted the coronavirus infection, with 31,751 deaths.

It was previously known that 10% of coronavirus patients over the age of 70 die in Ukraine.
