In Ukraine, on the last day, March 26, 17,424 new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed. Most of the cases were detected in the Lviv, Odessa and Kiev regions.
Initially, the apparatus of the National Defense and Security Council of Ukraine, which maintains statistics on COVID-19, released data indicating 16,766 new cases.
In particular, 4747 people were hospitalized yesterday, deaths – 290, recovered – 7124 patients. Among the COVID cases, 752 children and 420 health workers.
Most of the infections are found in Lviv (1407), Odessa (1282), Kiev (1273), Dnepropetrovsk (1171), regions and Kiev (1226).
In total, 123,500 coronavirus tests were carried out yesterday. Of these, by PCR – 55,500, by ELISA – 22,470, investigation by rapid antigen tests for SARS-CoV-2 – 45,530.
Since the start of the pandemic, 1 million 632 thousand 131 people have already been infected in the country, 1 million 297 thousand 282 have recovered, deaths – 31 751.
