According to the ministry, an accelerated increase in the subsistence minimum is expected to calculate social benefits, which are the main source of income:
- in 2022 – by 14%;
- in 2023 – by 15%;
- in 2024 – by 25%.
As indicated in the message, the bills provide a new methodology for determining and applying the subsistence minimum exclusively for basic social guarantees (minimum wage, minimum retirement pension, state social assistance, which is the main source of income. of a person).
In addition, it is planned to introduce basic values for the calculation of social benefits (allowances, increases, additional pension, special merit pensions, monthly benefits), which are set at a pension or state social assistance paid instead of a pension; scholarships, maximum payments, compensation payments, and lump sum payments (benefits).
It is also proposed to introduce a base amount for cash payments and penalties and a base amount for administrative fees.
Recall, the Cabinet of Ministers approved on January 27 a bill to streamline the system for calculating the size of the subsistence minimum, social payments, cash payments, and fines and fees for the provision of administrative services (administrative fees). It is proposed to change the calculation methodology.
We will recall, since December 1, 2020 in Ukraine, the cost of living has risen to 2189 hryvnia. Social and labor payments depend on their size.
