European Solidarity is ready to participate in an extraordinary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, but subject to the presentation of a number of important questions to the deputies.
According to the press service of the political force, first of all, it is about listening to the representatives of the authorities about strategies to continue fighting the pandemic and lack of supply of vaccines to the country.
“As of today, a meager number of doses could be delivered, enough to vaccinate a maximum of 250 thousand people. This does not cover even a percentage of the population. This is a failure, the result of amateurism and the lack of professionalism of the green team, which has already cost the lives of more than thirty thousand Ukrainians, ”the party said in a statement.
Representatives of the “EU” demand to consider the problem of the fight against covid in a meeting of the NSDC with the participation of leaders of parliamentary factions.
“It is unacceptable to turn the Security Council into a public relations agency to serve Servant N1, this ‘powerful body’ must consider the most important issues,” said Eurosolidarity.
In an extraordinary meeting of the parliament, the parties demand to include in it the question of creation of VSK to investigate high treason during the transfer of classified information to Russia about a special operation to arrest Russian war criminals from Wagner’s private army; European solidarity bills to counter Russian propaganda and punishment for collaboration.
“Regarding the latter, we do not insist on authorship and we are ready to formalize it as a common initiative with the Servants of the People,” the EU added.
“Finally, the logical result of considering Sunday’s events at the President’s Office in Bankova could be voting in favor of the Resolution on the end of repressions for political reasons, initiated by us. Most of the participants behaved peacefully, and there is no reason to betray those who have resorted to vandalism in the face of this protest. We were not among the initiators of the action, but everyone understands that the Sternenko case has become political and therefore requires political decisions to defuse the situation.
