In terms of the daily increase of the coronavirus, Ukraine ranks eighth in the world and fourth in Europe. This is evidenced by data from the statistical site Worldometers.

Thus, as of March 20, 507,346 new cases of COVID-19 infection were registered in the world, the majority in Brazil (73,450), the United States (55,908) and India (43,815).

In addition, in the last 24 hours, 8134 people have died from the coronavirus disease in the world (260 in Ukrainian).

In total, since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, 123.4 million inhabitants of the planet have been infected, of which 99.4 million have overcome the infection and 2.7 million have died from its complications.

Recall, two weeks ago Ukraine was the tenth in the world in terms of growth of COVID-19 and the sixth in Europe.
