Vladislav Esipenko’s wife, detained in Crimea by the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), Ekaterina considers the detention of her husband illegalbecause he dedicated himself to journalistic activities in the territory of the peninsula. “The arrest of my husband is an illegal action, since Vlad was involved in journalistic activities on the territory of Crimea. This is recognized by all institutions, the democratic countries of the world. Vlad went to Crimea because once we lived there, in Ukraine, “said the woman.
Ekaterina noted that her husband’s family left the Crimea in 2015. He is not a professional journalist himself, but he pursued this business as a hobby. Vladislav took every opportunity to cover the events in Crimea, because I consider it my duty.
Esipenko’s wife said that lawyers still can’t get to him.
“I want to appeal to all who can help and bring the release of Vladislav Esipenko closer. To the President of Ukraine, the Ombudsman, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, international organizations. I ask for help from all who can help us with this Ekaterina asked.
Let us remind you that Vladislav Esipenko was detained in Crimea by employees of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation for allegedly carrying out “reconnaissance and subversive activities in the interest of special services of Ukraine” on the Russian-occupied peninsula.
