Yesterday, the Ministry of Health announced 15,053 new cases of coronavirus and this was, as of yesterday, the highest since the beginning of the year. The number has increased today almost 800 cases.
During the last day, 4,444 people were hospitalized; 262 people died and 4,592 patients recovered.
Yesterday, 115,274 tests for coronavirus were carried out (in particular, by PCR – 53,379, by ELISA – 21,241, studies by rapid antigen tests for SARS-CoV-2 – 40,654).
During the last day, the highest number of confirmed cases was registered in the regions of Kiev (1210), Lvov (1140), Kiev (1134), Kharkov (1085) and Vinnitsa (948).
During the entire time that the pandemic lasted, 1,519,926 people fell ill with COVID; 1,248,782 people recovered, 29,515 people died.
Let us remember that the quarantine in Kiev is tightening. The restrictions are effective from March 20 to April 9 inclusive. In particular, mass events in the capital will be prohibited, as well as the operation of shopping centers, cinemas and theaters.
RBC-Ukraine wrote that during the quarantine, the capital city transport will operate as usual, but with restrictions.
